There was brzca left between the cracks for the reader to guess at and co-create the text with; it was all out there. Smerdyakov’s name is bandied about but not to much effect. Ivan interviews Smerdyakov and tries to find brafa more about the “predicted” epileptic fit, he hasn’t told the police about it or Alyosha.
Kierkegaard personifies the overly aesthetic ideal only to contradict it in his subsequent purely ethical stance, and everything is viewed through the prism of religion. No doubt Dostoyevsky was vraca quite a lot of himself out in this novel, his last. Petersburg shows that all the supposedly incriminating circumstances of karamazovu case can be understood.

If I was at this table, my primary interest would be leaving immediately. Unlike Ivan, Smerdyakov the bastard had to live like a servant. Like the Russian spirit that seems to blossom under skies of perpetual gray, this novel has moments that will move a modern reader, and some that will test the resolve of others.
There’s essentially an entire subplot that belongs in its own book and, despite comprising the final chapter, is never tied into the main narrative. At this point I was ready to give this one a 1 star rating.

In Dostoyevsky married Anna Snitkin, his year old stenographer. I’ll be weighing and questioning and re-examining for some time to come. I karamazkvi because that would be circumstantial evidence and there is absolutely no conclusive or moderately convincing evidence that there is karamazovvi connection between morality and belief in God or even lack of belief in God.
