The good parts, though This beautifully illustrated reference, penned from the viewpoint of Caramon Majere, a Hero of the Lance, details the habits, diets, lairs, and legends of these fantastic creatures. The artwork is good in places and average in others, and it’s kept to a relative minimum among Monster collections, making up some of dragonance ground that the margins lost. The book is effectively pages, though the dreaded Dragonlance margins remain.
